Understand that It always is a Long Way Coming
Take time to study a successful person’s journey and you’ll understand that it has not come automatically. Listen to them speak and you’ll understand that it always is a similar story, ‘It’s been a long way coming’. I have studies several online marketing gurus and found that the story of their success is more or less the same and it always has:
- Taken time
- Demanded a lot of effort
- Had some uniqueness/personal identity
You may have seen a sales letter on the internet (I have seen many of these), somebody offering to give you their success recipe that would make your success in a matter of hours. I hardly believe that because success is not based on copying someone else’s tricks but has got a lot more to do with sustainability. I know that it becomes very difficult to sustain something you haven’t got much background on. In other words, even if you can attain the promised success by observing the suggested methods, you always pay the price to sustain the status.
Innovation is an essential ingredient to success. By adopting their success recipe, you automatically become their followers. You therefore will have to get back to them each time you are faced with a challenge, which is unfortunately more money from your pocket. I will tell you one important success secrete that makes them thrive, ‘putting other people’s success as priority number one on their agenda’ and the more people that rely on you for their success, the more you achieve your own success.
In other words, if you duplicate exactly what others have done, you will find it more challenging to cope with the competition because there will always be someone who is:
- Bigger
- More interesting than you
- Better
- Faster
- Richer
- Nicer
- More fun
- Better looking
- Earlier
- Flashier
- Extensive
- Cheaper
If you live in the world of cometition, you will definately loose to someone else. It is really bad news for those who like doublicating other peoples work.
Facing Reality
I have difficultly using the word ‘reality’ because it always separates boys from man, the passionate and the infatuated and its where I get dismissed by many. Yes, it is reality that you have to pay the price for your success and there is no short cut. This is not a lotto game where you spend a dime and get millions.
Its not enough that people are applauding you for the vision and you have the support from friends and family, but it comes down to what you do to attain your dreams. The earlier you get started on the steps to take you to your destiny, the better because the road leading there comes a long way. However, for those at the top that are already successful today, they should know that ‘No Relaxing Man is Millionaire‘.
