Pay Yourself by Writing Articles Online
Once in a while I get surprises from my participation online. So I know that participating online is a long time investment if well thought out. One time I wrote an article ‘Count it on Investments’ when I was relating to my online participation selling photos with “fotolia.com. This was when I got a surprise that I had made +$ 7 from sales of the few photos I had uploaded.
Today I have a different story that also surprised me while making attempts with Lulu.com. One of my articles says ‘Take Chances of You Really want Success‘ and it has proven to be true for me with Lulu. The same principle goes for winning lotto, a competition, etc. Myself and many authors have supported article directories in a long time now. We post resourceful articles that make the article directory owners rich and only get a few links back to your website. Is it really good enough? I guess each author has himself or herself to blame as often article submission is voluntary.
It is good that you write articles and post them in free article directories, but not all information is worth giving away to directories. If you are like me, you’d time and again come up with articles that are above average from what you normally write. Articles you know are worth exchanging a few cents for, even a few dollars. You’ll know this if you have put in some more effort researching the information or even done a survey to support it. I did the same with my e-book ‘African Virginity Assessment Methods’ and thought I would attract a few dollars for this special one. I had gone down town one day with a questionnaire on several interesting questions to ask. I managed interviewing 100 citizens that day and I knew that the final product would surely be above average.
Now, between you and me, ‘who in the free article directory world has ever been paid for posting articles?’ Why not try paying yourself from your own effort. You can price your article or e-book at the very lowest price just to put yourself at an advantage from the other author who gives away to article directories. If your e-book gets one download a year at $0.99 and you have written 50 of them, you have made yourself some simple money. I know this amount may sound too little but for the effort, its truly worth it. So, if you had written really good articles selling for about $ 10, you’d easily make $ 500 at the end of each year.
The internet has room enough for all authors to try their luck selling thier knowledge in form of articles. As opposed to giving such articles away for free in article directories, why not try your luck with websites such as Lulu.com. I know there are many similar service providers online but I strongly suggest lulu because of their long time profile online. Again, go for websites that cost absolutely nothing to list such that even if nobody buys, you still loose nothing but learn that you may have to improve in your writing or research skills. Like I said, I have registered with Lulu.com, a website publisher that allows you to upload your electronic product for free and give it up for the global market.
Not all titles can sell within a short space of time, but some will. Be the judge and try your luck. You only can survive seeing your article stay months (if not years) without getting a single sale if you have some special attitude. I call this kind of attitude ‘Special’. You must know that putting your e-book in front of the market means listing at the very end of billions of similar articles/resources, but if you pay nothing for listing, why worry?

You see at this stage I wish I could shout louder such that even the less privileged societies can hear such good news. There is just no secrete to it, ‘authentic unique information is key’. It is also not about the number of words or from where it comes from, but about its worth. I know there are lots of stories in Africa by the African people that have space in online e-book market.
Just for your own sake, wake up and smell the coffee. The ball is in your court, do something about it. Go for it!
