It is always nice to have proof of what you claim you can do, particularly when in comes to business. But I have news for you, ‘looking for proof could fail you’. I acknowledge that it fair to request for proof whenever someone introduces you to anything with claims of achievement. But what if the proof is good enough to convince you yet the idea won’t work for you? I relate my sad story on how proof leads to my failure in the article ‘My life With QuestNet – Part 1′ and Part 2.

I know what proof could delay you from experience. In late 2004, my business book was published and it was a best seller, my greatest challenge was that of displaying the skills I had covered in the book. Unfortunately, it was zero – nothing to show. I know I could have sold even more copies if I had the platform of my proposed business applications/concepts at work because people are hard to convince without proof.

Let me relate the cost it has been for me not to have that platform, ‘my surface entrepreneurship reputation’. I have been a renowned entrepreneur ever after publishing the book. I had done business before, but only in a very small scale. Now came the time for me to contribute towards an entrepreneurial decision to be made for a much bigger business, I was a menace because I relied a lot on theory. But think of the other people who today are successful from reading my book? Many of the successful are those who have never met me but trusted what I had written in the book.

I cannot run away from the fact that even today I’m faced with the challenge of proving to my community that article writing can generate cash online. I have a website, even though I know it’s not a prerequisite, which I use to generate online cash through advertising (internet marketing). I surely know it works but I just need to prove it on me, yet others that I follow are a proof to that. Is it really necessary that I prove? I guess your answer is ‘Yes!’ But what if you take me at my word and just do it. What do you have to loose other than trying the idea?

I’m reminded of the Movie ‘Man of Honor’ where Cuba Gooding, Jr. acts Carl Brashear. The time when Carl had to proof that he was still fit to work as a diver after his leg had been amputated. Carl knew he could dive without a problem even without his left leg, but he had to prove it. What a task he faced. Hear his answer when asked whether he would cope with divers half his age, ‘the question is, Sir, can they keep up with me?’ I feel like I’m faced with an equally challenging task.

Do I really have to go down that road like Brashear did? But really, what is proof going to do for you? You’ll still have to set up your own website (if you choose to use one), write your own resourceful content, contribute to website marketing initiatives like article writing for directories, pay for traffic, etc. You really need no proof but what you need the most is courage and determination.

I know that a lot of people have been victims of scams both online and offline. I’m a witness to that as QuestNet robbed me and many of my fellow citizens, yet such experiences does not mean I have to stop trying other ideas. I may not always have to approve working ideas through proof. I just have to take my time studying the idea and if I’m satisfied, I have to go for it and if not, consider other options.

Remember, ‘Take Chances if You Really Want Success’ and the longer you wait, the more difficult it will be for you to pace up with the competition.
