I want to strongly believe that the model that Alex Tew used to make a million dollars in less than 5 months is applicable to all types of business ideas. I have learnt with amazement how a young man of 21 from the UK made so much a fortune by applying an idea that seems to be very simple to many. I believe I can also copy the model to reach my goals too.

I got to learn about Alex when checking my achieved articles of Steve Pavlina, who happens to be my main source of inspiration to coming up with yeboyesafrica.com. Steve helped me migrate from a non effective method of blogging to WordPress that has been the best for me so far. I encourage you to visit his website at stevepavlina.com for more insight on how blogging works and well as many other internet ventures. I had read this article several times and somehow I had never noticed the link to Alex’s milliondollarhomepage.com. The moment I followed it, I just got glued to this marvelous invention. There is just a lot to learn from Alex’s experience and he happens not to be stingy with information that led him to reach his million dollar target.

In the past three days I have studied the process that Alex went through from the day he came up with the idea to the point where he rejected all other clients who wanted to give him even more money. I learn all this from his blog on the million dollar home page. It is a long reading, but you will find it very inspiring and worth trying to implementing your own ideas.

Alex makes it clear that his focus was getting just enough for his university costs and then at least 1 or 2 percent extra for some goodies, but his idea worked like a dream even beyond his expectations. I surely will come up with a more formal analysis of Alex’s model and will make it available in PDF so we all can benefit from it.

Alex capitalized on the concept of scarcity. This he did by limiting the number of pixels available for sale and kept his word for it. I guess this is the major driving factor of the idea. Alex has provided a proof that a life limited product or service is more likely to me bare more fruits than an open ended one. Personally, I have learnt that when one goes to business, they must have a lifetime estimate of the idea and conveniently plan an exit plan.

I believe I’m also a genius in my own respect and want to note a few things that I think Alex overlooked when first introducing the idea.

  1. Copyrighting the idea – Even though Alex didn’t anticipate much success from this idea, after a few weeks indications were that the idea is of global interest and he still could copyright it. This would have created him residual income for life as many copycats have developed the idea even further. They provide internet ready scripts for sale and raking a lot of money from this idea. Thousands are actually practicing the concept, having millionaire home pages of their own. I guess Alex could be collecting a few dollars from that.
  2. Making other pages – That the first car was invented by Ford doesn’t mean other models were not inventing. That is why we have over a hundred brand names for automobiles. Alex could have copied the very same idea and used if for ads, links, affiliates, etc. There just is no way Alex could have failed with the reputation he had created for himself and the support from his friends, customers and family.
  3. Ads on website – I don’t think adding ads to ones website means that person is an under dog or a struggling internet marketer. Alex could have ripped a lot of money from adds with the so much traffic he attracted on his website.

Be the judge! Before I come up with a formal analysis of the model demonstrated by Alex, I encourage you to visit his website and read to learn how one can make a million dollars in less than five months.
