Christianity Assumes Mistaken Money Making Position
Today I’m not going to talk about the Pastors that womanize yet they claim to be following God’s commands written in the Holy Bible, but those that could be worshiping money unaware. I’m sure that before God the creator, one day I shall give an account for all that I have posted in this blog, this article included. I’m living in Swaziland, one country well known of keeping her culture values and one who is so religious that a majority are Christians. In Swaziland, you will find believers in Bars and everywhere else you least expect. Its no exception that the methods of money making that are seen in Christian houses seem to be money focused.
I have seen, heard and been a victim to Pastors forcing, by harsh word, people to give their very last money. The common story is that people are poor because they don’t give. Do you believe that claim? I think it’s a big misconception and people should know that giving alone is not enough. I believe that basis of getting a reward from your giving, is working smarter and sometimes harder. Often it works well if you give to God with a free mind and hear, and not forced to give for a person promised reward on behalf of God.
I, for one, know that God shall give me blessings at His only right time. God is mighty and cannot be held at ransom. All that holding God at ransom does it make the ‘Pastors’ richer, making you even more poor. When a Pastor tells you to give specific amounts or even a percentage of your salary so that you can get a specific blessing from God, that Pastor is forcing you to hold God in ransom. Would you do that in your normal senses? Think about it.
I guess the best thing to do is take God at His word and do what is right. You will agree with me that there are many non-Christians who are more successful than millions of Christians, even when they haven’t seen the door that leas to the temple all their lives. They just work smart and harder and their efforts reward them. Don’t fool yourself and think that if you give God all your salary, he will give you back double back. Common sense is sometimes too common for others. Think about it!
I guess Jesus, while on earth, did not need a body guard, yet we see ‘BIG’ Pastors escorted by some around us. Jesus was protected by God the father, and feared none because He knew that nothing just happens. There is a lot we see that Jesus didn’t do, yet He should be the model to all Christians. Surely other religions have sprung up because they have seen the money power in Christianity. Who would like using other people’s money without being questioned? Who doesn’t like to change cars like pair of shoes? Who doesn’t like to stay at home with the wife and yet earn at CEO levels? Who doesn’t want to speak and people do? This confuses the people whom Christ sent us to call into Christianity.
Spirituality and religion makes people give even at the cost of their lives. Pastors, please don’t take advantage of that. I know some who do this in Swaziland, and they know themselves. I guess we all shall give an account to God for what we have done while in the flesh, including Pastors. I’m Christian myself and can’t wait to get to the other side of life after death. This life is so confusing that you can’t tell the right religion from the wrong, no good examples anymore.
