It may sound dull to online marketing experts who often advise people not to use AdSense, that I put this as a topic. My experience tells me that if AdSense has not worked for you, you better not get worried if any other of your affiliate programmes has not worked at all. You could be a victim of checking your AdSense account each time you get a chance to access the internet, just like me before I tried other methods of making money online, and get dissapointed at zero earnings for the day.

I write this post after reading an article from a South African publisher that recommends Offerforge.com for an affiliate programme. I visited his website and found so many google ads and I wanted to find out if he makes some more with offerforge, so I asked him. I havent received a response yet but I know for a fact that he makes more with Adsense than Offerforge or any other affiliate programme.

I use AdSense as a benchmark for any success because it is the easiest method of making money online. All you do is register at google.com, get banner codes, paste them in your website (see how I do it!) and if people happen to click (even unintentional), you earn some cents or even more than a dolar sometimes – simple! Adsense can earn you money with just enough traffic to get you ranked as low as below 4 million – I have! I guess you know how difficult it should be to convinve someone online to buy any product, unlike with Adsense where people may even click for the fun of exploring the internet.

For starters, this is not to say that affiliate marketing doesn’t work, but it just is not easy to get going at it. I have detailed my thought on what makes starters to fail in the post ‘The Single Biggest Mistake Internet Starters Make’ because there just are so many disapointments coming your way that you need to sustain. In short, I suggest that a good start in monitizing your website is putting simple ads, as that of google, that shall help you test your websites visibility.
