Sometimes it serves one well to remain positive until such time that the truth has been revealed and confirmed. I therefore want to assume that the result of my affiliate account with trafficsynergy.co.za being inactive arises only from technicalities with their website.  I want to assume something a bit complicated for the technicians has happened. Just so it registers that the affiliate programme I was promoting last week has disappointed me, I feel I must post this article. This is not to discard them yet, but to get the message across that sometimes giving credit way too early is not right.

 

I have been online or else owned a website since 2004 and have experienced several disappointments with online service. At one point it was article directories, sometimes other affiliate programmes, declined purchases, access denial and many other online businesses.  This is not unique, yet I know or suspect something unfair is going on with the administrators of the affilaite in question because according to my knowledge, I haven’t violated any of their service conditions and no notice of violation has been sent to my inbox. The worst could be that it is inactive so that who ever joins does not registered as being refered throught my link.  Believe me, this is not at all unique to African online businesses but happens anywhere in the world.

 

What happened?


Just on Friday 7th August 09, the last day my account was active, I later in the day visited a friend and used his computer to access this website. I did so to check my updates and see how they appear in a different computer. I was surprised not to see the trafficsynergy.co.za ads. I knew for sure that the last two posts should have the ads, yet there were none. I thought maybe his web service provider administrator restrict banners from appearing in some of the pages. Surprisingly, offerforge.co.za banners were visible and active. I managed convincing myself that nothing was going wrong with the webpage but the access point.

 

Today, Monday 10th August 2009, I found the same problem in this computer. I then knew that something had gone wrong with the affiliate programme. I tried accessing my account and it just was not possible. I tried the option of re-setting the password and the ultimate response was that my account is now inactive and I must email the administrators if I feel that is it wrong for my account to be inactive. I did just that in the last four hours and there is not response as yet. I used three of their communication mediums and none has come so far.

 

What are you up to?

 

To tell you the truth, I don’t know what will become of my account with trafficsynergy. I don’t know whether I will loose all the money I had earned through their programme, or will just receive the settlement amount or I will be reactivated again. I just don’t know my fate, I hope a get reactivated. This is very discouraging as linking had already built up for the post ‘The African Money Maker that works for me’.  Just this morning I learnt that this promotion had created 19 comments for me and surely cant reverse the links I get from other webmasters in respect of my recommendation of this affiliate.

 

 

Surprised!

 

On the other good side, I learnt today that I have generated some cash with offerforge.co.za and now don’t want to listen to my crazy feeling and intuitively guarantee that they are the best like I did with the other one. I guess the right advice going forward would be ‘give chances to all affiliate programmes and await your results before getting exited to tell the world about them’.
