Don’t Get too Exited, Internet Business Can Wait
Internet business can wait while you give time to current events that matter to your life (could be dating, investing, learning, etc). I recall a few months ago I wrote an article on ‘Internet Being the Thief of Time’ because you shouldn’t allow your website to disturb your normal life. You better be careful how you manage your time on the internet because you may loose all else to just your website. Reality of doing successful business online demands dedication and one that is not once off. So, even if you try hard, you may not win in a day, a week or even a month. Just how much you work on it is enough if you can spare an hour or two in an average of 3 days and then you shall be fine in the long run.
Experience
To further illustrate my point, this year I have been privileged to have enrolled for a part time Master’s Degree course, I know that I need both internet success and my Master’s certificate. It is therefore important that I sometimes put aside my website affiliate business and prepare for assignments, tests and exams. It makes sense that my website be less active while I focus on my studies and then after the exams, my blog will be up and running again. I surely don’t loss anything by so doing.
Therefore, be reasonable in your website activities and mostly be responsible. You may have heard and seen proof of success from website marketing, but this doesn’t come as quick as many would like it to.
Think Twice
Roomer has it that only about 2 % of internet markers make it through to success. What this means is that there is high competition online as much as it is offline. If you are not the persevering type, you may find that at the end of the day you loose everything. Spending more time or even sacrificing other project for your website business doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a success, but only that your chances are increased.
So, I see no reason why I should allow other important projects in my life to suffer from website marketing.
