An Article to a Directory Makes Me R 20/$ 2.50 Richer

I read an article from one of my online mentors, Lisa, that encourages people to post articles on their personal success experience as opposed to reporting from what others say.  We read day in day out on internet success stories and often get tempted to write similar articles and assume the position of success yet most of us are not there yet. I have pleasure today to write an article on how I influence internet traffic to make me an average of R 20 (US $ 2.50) each time I post an article to the only article directory that seem to work for me.

I must say that to come to this stage has called for passion and commitment. It so happens that the combination I do online works for me, as a result I get financial rewards. Its actually not the best position in online success but I know that I’m already an expert because I can influence monetization of my website.

1.   Alexa.com

Another online mentor said that testing fine tunes your online efforts to your desired result. I have done that with the assistance of Alexa.com, that helps me gauge effectiveness of my traffic creation attempts by giving both a global and regional ranking of my website online. This has helped me know and realize effective.

2.   Wassup Plugin

Similar to what Alexa.com does for me, I also installed the wassup WordPress plugin that give useful details to the testing of traffic creation activities. Wassup would tell me where most traffic comes from in terms of the search words, referral websites and browsing programmes used. For example, this has helped me understand what makes a good article for South Africa. Wassup will also tell me how many page views I had in the past 24 hours, detail on where each visitor came from and their activity.

3.   Articlesbase.com

With the help of both Alexa.com and Wassup, I can tell that contributing articles to Articlesbase.com contributes more than 60 percent to my traffic volumes. At the time of writing this article, I had about 120 articles that has direct links to my website in the directory’s different article categories.

I keep adding articles to this directory and doing so has made the R 20 (US $ 2.50) reward for me. Surely you can reach and exceed this stage if you do what I do much better than I do.

4.   Affiliate Programmes

The affiliate programmes that I actively use include googleadsense, trafficsynergy and offerforge. These are the guys that make the R 20 (US $ 2.50) for me. I make sure that the articles that go to Articlesbase.com are directed to specific posts in my website and would influence visitors to do the desired action, i.e. want to read more about the subject and follow the links to my website and further explore into the ads and banners displayed in my web-pages. An article dedicated to this is ‘An African Money Maker that Works for Me’.

It works best for both me and the visitor not to mislead each other. Thus I make sure that whatever I post in both my website and Articlesbase.com is true and can be substantiated with facts. It therefore follows that success online surely follows the single process: Creating content, Creating Traffic, Pre-selling service/product and finally monetize.
