Don’t be overwhelmed by the many affiliate companies online and think that by not being exposed to these sometime earlier has robbed you earning some cash. Like I noted in some of my articles that in internet marketing, you not only build it but also work on it for you to see results. I have often felt the same way in several instances. Whenever I discover a good affiliate company I used to hurriedly register and put the adds in my blog, hoping to increase my income. It never worked even with a single one of the affiliate companies that I joined. In essence, joining many affiliate companies didn’t necessarily mean I will attract more traffic for my blog but more misdirect or even influence me to write irrelevant articles just to get a pay from the affiliate company. Yes, sometimes signing up with a so-called lucrative money making affiliate company can influence you to digress from your interests and bring in irrelevant content to your blog or website.  

 

 

I therefore made up my mind and settled for three affiliate companies that work for me; google adsense, Traffic Synergy and offer forge. I must say that membership to the many others doesn’t make any sense because I haven’t earned even a cent from them even after a long time. Yesterday I visited the clickbank website and was not surprised that I hadn’t made even a single dollar after more than 2 years I joined. The reason is that none of their products are promoted in my website because for now, I don’t think this website has high traffic to support clickbank. So, it was premature for me to join. The only advantage is that my membership doesn’t expire. I therefore can promote products later when my website has grown enough to support clickbank products.

I therefore choose not to get exited and register whenever I come across an affiliate company because it just could be a waste of time. Now that I know that signing up doesn’t mean success, I evaluate to possibility of earning anything before I partake. The primary objective remains that of creating traffic for my website.
