Winners are defined by Not Giving Up
Just this quick timeless fact on how to tell winners from losers, winners never give up. As it is often said that quitters never win and winners never quit, it surely remains so till the end of time. This is not different from what any advisor would say but it is makes no impact unless it is demonstrated. Demonstrating your advice defeats the ‘easier said than done syndrome’.
My friend demonstrated this to me by pushing even harder in his struggling restaurant business. I met him yesterday and was reminded of the time he struggled to make his butchery and restaurant business work. Back then, this business was a financial drain and one had to close down. But the good news is that his story was different yesterday, it was a good story of success. He related the hardships he has endured until today when a few months ago he was awarded a tender by NECHA to supply food to social communities. This surely has marked his breakthrough in the industry and gave him strength to attempt business in road maintenance in Mozambique. His only recipe is not giving up despite the odds.
I’m support those that hang on long enough to see if their projects work or not, however I’m against insanity. Remember the definition of insanity ‘doing one and the same thing hoping to get different results’. To be a winning winner, you may have to make several changes, sometimes drastic ones, to get to the success you want. It surely will cost you something and you must be willing to pay the price.
