Do it Cheaper and Easier while you can – The case of Whitney Houston
Nothing is academic about doing what you know best to do while you can, for time comes when you cannot do as you wish. It is sad to loose what used to be a treasure to lost time and opportunities. Yesterday I saw a video clip on TV of Whitney Houston performing in London and she was so poor I thought she should just forget about her singing carer. She was trying he song ‘I will always love you’. If you know the song and how good she was at it, you’d swear yesterday’s attempts were not from the Whitney you know.
The Cost
Preparing for a concert takes a lot of time, effort and money. In fact, such events demand for faith to host. We all can do it yet we still need to calculate. I pity Whitney because it appears she can’t take her career any further, unless she prays to God for a miracle and be granted.
To You
Think of the time you wanted to start on your project; how affordable it could have been at the time, the energy you had for it and the potential. I’m sure you have projects that you keep postponing even today. One of our colleagues here at work was given a chance to further his studies, but his age because a huge hindrance – hardly anyone could be keen at 2 years before retirement.
I guess we should worry more about what we are doing to reach our goals as opposed to what could be done about them.
That’s just about all I wanted to say about delaying, just as taking a break, on your project for some time later – doing so could mark your end.
